Laura Lowrie

In the fitness industry since 2006.

I have been in the fitness industry since 2006, teaching a variety of group exercise classes. From 2007 I have been teaching community classes in Carlisle, Gretna, Brampton and Wigton.

I love teaching.I love meeting new people. I love watching them get excited about classes and watching them develop and see their bodies change. And most importantly, see how people are happier when they exercise.

Over the years I have gained qualifications to teach different classes, but with all of these there are 2 common links - fun and core. I believe that core is key. You are better at everything if you have a strong core. And that's what has led me teaching what I teach.

About me

Life Changing

I decided in April 2015 that I wanted to get fit and shed a few pounds having not stepped in a gym for nearly 10 years it was a daunting thought plus I never really enjoyed the gym but I did enjoy classes as I felt more motivated and everyone was there doing the same thing and didn't involve waiting around for machines. I wanted to try a few things to see what I enjoyed as it would be easier to stick to it long term. I heard about Laura's Kettlercise classes and decided to go along to a class and I have been hooked ever since, I also started attending the PiYo classes and loved them! I started to see my body change and my fitness levels improved. I would never have thought I would become an instructor but with a push from Laura and her confidence in me that I could do it I thought "ok, lets do this" and here I am.
